	Keep good notes, don't miss class, get all you can out of the class. - Jamie

	Study the Highway Construction Manual throughout the course. Make sure to attend as many classes as possible. Practice the math.
	Don't let the math scare you. I did not use math basically for 25 years and never had algebra or trig. By the end of the course, I felt comfortable. The class instructors are very knowledgeable and personal. Overall, I would definitely recommend this course at CCCTC. - Doug
